Gag me with a yogurt taco...or pregnancy will do it too

If you are wondering, "gag me with a yogurt taco" was one of my favorite valley girl sayings from the 80's.

Yick. Bleck. I feel sick! I am so afraid I am going to get as big as a house because the only thing that seems to keep my nausea at bay is to constantly feed my face. My sister lived an entire pregnancy on Werthers Originals and Rootbeer. The only thing that sounds good to me are chipotle steak burritos. Yeah, that's gonna get pricey. Every time I think about the sensation in my throat I mentally say the word "keck". I think that may be a barfing sound effect...I'm not sure.

Anyway, random stuff is starting to gross me out. I am going to start an official pregnancy gag list on my sidebar. I'll update it as need be.

So ladies, what made you gag during your pregnancies?

Toothpaste was on my list and sometimes it still does (even not pregnant) My sister made me smell a some kind of berry/pine scented candle and I almost lost my lunch! Oh, the joy of pregnancy!!

What gags me most!?!? Sadly enough, it's anything that I REALLY loved when I got pregnant. No more sun dried tomato hummus for me! Don't you love the new blog list?!?! Wonders never cease!

Anything with tomato sauce. Spaghetti was the worst! Pizza is on that list too (sadly enough). Toothpaste for sure- and after my pregnancies now just the smell of gingerale or sprite makes me gaggy.

Candles, eggs cooked anyway, milk, cheese sometimes. Almost anything with a strong smell did it for me. I ate crackers until almost 11 every morning. I hear that peppermint or lemon candies work good for nausea. Whenever my mom has tummy problems she sucks on Altoids? She says it calms her stomach almost instantly. Watch out...their curiously strong!

Just about everything...I throw up the entire 9 months! But what about weird cravings???!! I crave the smell of gasoline and goof-off or any chemically thing. Serious issues!

Anyone smoking a cigarette was in serious danger of me ralphing on their shoes while I was pregnant.

Um, may I be exempt from that question?

I'm sorry you're feeling sick! Your sister has some way good advice, though. And steak burritos, I could get use to that one. Whatever you do, please don't add one of those creepy floating fetus pregnancy counters to your blog. I think that alone would make anyone (pregnant or not) lose their lunch!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
This is exciting. Eat, yes. Just stay active. I was doing fine until I quit going to karate and that's when I gained most of my weight. $$ lbs this time just like last, but for some reason 20 pounds of it just keeps sticking on and my baby is 8 mos old!

Gag stuff:
Dishes, trash, laundry, and peoples body smells -way more potent and rotten smelling than when you're not prego.

Sorry, it's me again. I just keep thinking of more stuff. Go to the Motherhood store in the mall. They sell "Preggy Pops", little hard candies that have some homeopathic thing that ceases the nausea. They really work. A walk outside with fresh air helps, too.

Hey there! I can't believe I found you! Thanks for visiting my supergirl site, despite my lack of progress! Your blog is adorable and I love hearing about your life. You have a great way with words. So you're expecting! How awesome. Let's see - last time I was obsessed with throwing up and nearly everything under the sun was gag worthy. With Carter it was chicken. Thank goodness it only lasts for a few months, or in the very worst cases, nine! We'll be checking in to wish you well!

I've been thinking about you a lot lately. Any chance they built a Chipotle up there for you!?!? Glad you have such a good mommy! Good thing you have such cute babies to make the gag fest worth it. Call me sometime.

By the way, congrats! Sorry you feel so dang miserable.

I have a pretty solid pregnant stomach but working and hot weather make my stomach roll. So a Vegas summer of house remodeling... great times.

Either way, I still say congratulations on the pregnancy! :-)

Oh congrats! Sorry I am little late on the bandwagon!! Let me think, oh I hate the smell of smoke, which was so frustrating because I could no longer sit and smoke and play the nickel slots at Sam's town till 2am! :) But giving all that up for a few months wasn't too bad.

The smell of soft soap, which is in every public bathroom known to man. I still can't handle it.

Hey, where did you go??? Not seeing new materials in a month, it's kind of sad!
